Amazing performance !  Their music was fun and very original.

The opening performance was by a music group from Santa Barbara, “Black Lotus”. The audience was enthralled.

About 1000 years ago a strange thing happened with European music; three quarters of the tonal material available to European music was lost through various means, notably the influence of  various theoreticians who believed that 'old modes' were unnecessary. Within three generations, an enormous body of knowledge was forgotten by mainstream musicians and composers. Among other arts that were lost were the healing modalities in music, and within a few generations these essential arts were forgotten in the classical system, but they remained alive in 'underground' music such as folk music (Flamenco, Celtic music, and various other forms)

Now, thanks to the resurgence of these forms and the availability of other forms such as North Indian music, which conserved these treasures, and the ability to synthesize  all the world's forms of the science of true sound, these arts are coming out and being re-discovered. We have scientific, objective proof of the reality and effectiveness of sound-healing modalities that have been either lost or unavailable, and ancient texts have been brought to light that support these modalities.
